Dual citizen traveling to Algeria, will I be forced into the army?

Hi everyone,
I’m half Egyptian, half Algerian. I’ve lived most of my life in Egypt, and the last time I went to Algeria was around 2008. I’m 24 now.
I hold both nationalities and have both passports (Algerian and Egyptian). I’m planning to travel to Algeria sometime next month, most likely using my Algerian passport since it’ll be much easier as I’ll need no Visa.
My concern is about milttary service. I obviously never did the Algerian army since I’ve been living abroad pretty much my whole life. I’ve heard some pretty extreme stories, like they’ll stop you at the airport and immediately take you to the army or prevent you from entering/leaving.

Is any of that actually true?
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
What should I do before traveling to avoid problems?
Any real experiences or advice would be appreciated, because the rumors are stressing me out
Thanks in advance!
