Allies meet in Geneva to rework US plan on Ukraine-Russia war

Senior officials from the United States, Ukraine, and national security advisers from France, the UK and Germany are meeting in Geneva on Sunday to discuss Washington’s draft proposal to end the war in Ukraine. As Russia’s invasion enters its fourth year, the Ukrainian side and its European partners are pushing to significantly rewrite Donald Trump’s peace plan, which critics argue amounts to a capitulation to Moscow.
