Panic attacks, fear, and health anxiety

Hello everyone,

I’m struggling with panic attacks and I wanted to ask about your personal experiences.

How did you manage to overcome or control panic attacks?

Was it through medication, therapy, breathing techniques, lifestyle changes, or something else?

I want to mention something personal: one day, during a panic attack, I read the Quran and, and I felt a bit calmer afterward. It helped, but the panic still comes back sometimes.

I’d really appreciate hearing your stories — what worked for you, what didn’t, and what you would recommend to someone at the beginning of this journey.

also want to add that I saw a neurologist, and I was prescribed medication. While I was taking it, I felt much better. However, after I finished the treatment, the panic and anxiety slowly started to come back, which is why I’m confused about the next step

Another big issue for me is health anxiety. Whenever I feel any pain or get sick, my mind immediately jumps to the worst conclusion, and I start thinking, “Am I going to die?” Even when doctors reassure me, the fear still feels very real

I need your help

Thank you 🤍
